About Me

My name is Erick. I am 37 years old and base out of the Sunshine State, Miami, FL. I was born in La Habana, Cuba. 

I work in commercial telecommunications for one of the biggest internet providers in the United States; after 8 years in the field working installing and troubleshooting internet/phone and TV for commercial clients I got highly interested in learning more about network and security.  Before telecom, I also did cell phone repairs and fire alarms. For me, technology is like a brand-new toy that I can't wait to unwrap. 

I want to expand my skill set and put a few new tools in my belt. I decided to enroll in the undergraduate Cyber Security program to grow within my current company or venture into entrepreneurship. I’m also using other sources and extracurricular activities to learn more about the information technology field. I enrolled in several UDEMY courses and HacktheBox for hands-on training, to learn Linux and Python. My goal is to acquire my bachelor’s in cyber security and complete several certifications in network and security.

This blog will be a collection of articles and videos related to the technology field and advancements of the human race. We will reimagine with today’s tech how the future will look in 2050.
