A DAY IN MY LIFE PART 1 - MICROSOFT WORD

The purpose of this exercise was to demonstrate Microsoft world literacy, by doing a breakdown of my daily routine using different fonts and sizes and changing the indentations of each new bullet point.

One day in my life

1.    I wake up at 6:30 am to do a stretching session in my foam roller for my back, proceed to take warm shower after. I make some cappuccinos while my wife makes breakfast and gets the lunches ready. I take my son to school making sure he gets there on time.

2.   I drive to the office for a quick meeting and go to the warehouse’s lockers to return old equipment and pick new up. I Gather the necessary supplies for a week worth of work, like connectors, wires, wall plates, ground wire, zip ties, aerial RG6, underground RG11, Cat5 etc.

v  I start my work route around 8:45 by driving to the first business in my work log, usually 3-5 jobs in a day. It could be a trouble call, upgrade, or install job. I communicate with dispatch for updates on my route. Usually, the first job is an upgrade for an existing client or install for a new or moving business. This consists of upgrading modem/router depending on bandwidth or phone services.

 4. Around 1:00 pm I take Lunch, head to the nears Publix for sushi, tomato soup or shrimp. Usually during my lunch time, I also do some errands for an eBay store my wife and I run, like go to the post office to ship items or pick something up from the jewelry store that was sent for repair. If I don’t have anything to do, I have lunch in my truck and watch Udemy videos preparing for the ITF+ certification exam.

 6. After work I sit with my older son and help him complete his homework and ask him about his day, from the time I left him at school till the time he got home. I always find this time valuable to help me connect with him.

Ø  7. I have some free time after helping my son, I relax for a couple of hours with my wife watching tv, talking or helping her on the kitchen with dinner if we don’t order take out.

8. Following this leisure time, I take the time to follow up on my schoolwork, I complete what is pending and check upcoming modules, review discussion forums and text with my friend/co-worker/classmate about the upcoming assignments.

 9. After my official class work is done, I jump on my desktop and take more training on different advanced subjects that interest me in Cyber Security, like ethical hacking, pen testing and Linux. Whether it's exploring new commands, working on projects, or engaging in activities, I look for more information that furthers my understanding of this field. This is what I find fun and keeps me excited about learning more.

 10. After the extracurricular activities I wrap up the day, wind down, reflecting on the tasks accomplished and preparing for the next day's activities. This might involve organizing my schedule, setting reminders, or simply relaxing before heading to bed.
